How to Import ForecastX Data

This procedure is used to import a ForecastX forecast into JustFood. In order to perform this procedure, you must have used ForecastX to create a forecast based on an exported sales history file.

To import a forecast

1. Choose the Search icon, enter import forecast, and select Import ForecastX Data.

2. Populate the following fields:

   • File Structure: Select if you want the forecasted sales to be reported by week or by month.

   • Use Production Forecast Name From File: Select this check box if you want to use the name of the saved file.

     -OR-

     Production Forecast Name: Select and existing forecast.

   • Delete Existing Forecast: Select the check box if you want the existing forecast to be replaced with the imported one.

3. On the Home tab, choose the Import ForecastX Data action.

4. Choose the file that you want to import.

You can then view the forecast from the Production Forecasts window.
